Class A Driver

**Job is in WILLISTON, ND**

Pay Rate

  • $25 -$35/hr. DOE

Actively looking to fill a Class A Driver position. Including Side Dump, Belly Dump, and Flat-Bed. The driver is responsible for safely driving in all road conditions, inspecting truck and trailer per DOT requirements, and driving a manual transmission. The driver will perform job duties independently with little to no supervision and maintain cleanliness of truck, inside and outside. Tardiness will not be tolerated. The position also requires a working knowledge and understanding of truck safety and DOT laws. The ideal candidate would be an early rising, self-motivated individual that possesses mechanical knowledge/ability, and work ethic as well as excellent leadership skills.

Job Duties, Responsibilities and Expectations

  • Ability to keep paperwork updated and turned in upon completion.
  • Ability to document equipment information.
  • Ability to read, write and communicate proficiently in English.
  • Ability to use and understand industry verbiage.
  • Ability to dress appropriately.
  • Ability to keep truck area and equipment clean and organized.
  • Ability to work on your own with little to no supervision.
  • Ability to report to scheduled shift, on time and prepared to work.
  • Ability to follow instructions both written and verbal.
  • Ability to problem solve independently.
  • Ability to work in frequent and repetitive movement throughout the day (sitting, driving, walking, stooping, crouching, kneeling, and standing)
  • Ability to perform job duties efficiently but thoroughly as well.
  • Ability to use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly, including for loud noise.

Please keep in mind that while an individual may not meet all expectations, we are willing to train the right candidate.

Desired Skills, Qualifications & Requirements

  • Current CDL in good standing
  • 2+ years relevant experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test as well as random testing for the duration of your employment.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check (a previous criminal record, including felonies, is not an automatic disqualification)
  • Must be able to occasionally lift and carry up to 50lbs.
  • Positive attitude
  • Candidate must have valid work authorization to work in the US.

Preferred but Not Required Qualifications

  • Continuance of relevant education

Work Hours

  • The current workload is 10-12 hours a day, 5-6 days a week.
    • Most shifts are during daylight hours.
  • 40-80 hours a week (depending on job)
  • Weekly pay
